Installation and General Troubleshooting of Hydraulic Wrench of Wrecker Truck

The winch of the rescue trailer must be regularly maintained and repaired to ensure the safe use of the winch and prolong the service life of the winch. The lubricating oil in the winch box should be replaced regularly, usually once a year. Always check the winch and motor for leakage. It is necessary to frequently check whether the winch mounting bolts are loose, to check the broken wire, wear and deformation of the wire rope frequently, and to lubricate the wire rope with lubricant regularly. In general, the winch and rescue trailer must be used, maintained and maintained in strict accordance with the specifications.

⑴ Before installing the winch, check whether the parts are complete and whether there is damage. If the parts are damaged, they must be replaced before installation.
(2) The connection between the winch and the connecting seat or bracket shall be fixed by high-strength bolts with mechanical properties of grade 10.9 or above to ensure sufficient connection strength.
(3) After the winch is installed, it is necessary to check whether the hydraulic pipeline is connected incorrectly, whether the clutch can be combined and separated normally, whether the winch drum can rotate normally, and there can be no stuck phenomenon.
⑷When winding the wire rope on the winch, put the rope head into the rope hole of the reel, then tighten the set screw, and in the rope-receiving condition, after winding 4-5 turns, load the wire rope with 3-5KN force to tighten the wire rope.
⑸The maximum deflection angle of the wire rope when it is wound into and out of the reel should not exceed 3° to prevent the rope from being disordered and the deflection of the winch retracting force. When it is out of use, the rope pressing device should compress the wire rope to prevent the wire rope from loosening and chaotic.
⑹ After the winch is installed, no-load operation should be carried out before the heavy-load test or when it is out of use for a long time, so as to facilitate the smooth operation of the motor.
⑺ It is strictly forbidden to disengage the winch clutch when lifting heavy objects or pulling. When the winch is working, the wire rope should be kept on the drum for at least 5 turns.
⑻ It is strictly forbidden to overload the winch to prevent damage to the winch and safety accidents.
During the use of the winch of the rescue trailer, some failures sometimes occur. The common phenomena are:
(1) The winch or motor leaks oil. Mainly for long-term use, the seal is damaged or the connecting bolt is loose, just replace the seal and tighten the connecting bolt.
(2) The winch clutch is disengaged and poorly engaged, mainly due to the dislocation of the clutch claws or the problem of the clutch operating mechanism. Rotate the ring cylinder to align the claws and check and eliminate the fault of the operating mechanism.
